The GSMA announced confirmed keynote speakers for Mobile World Congress Shanghai, including CEOs and senior leaders from companies such as AT&T Mobility, Baidu, China Mobile, China Telecom, HTC, KDDI, NTT DOCOMO, Oberthur Technologies, Telenor Pakistan and ZTE. The GSMA also announced additional exhibitors, sponsors, partners and programmes for the annual Shanghai event, which will take place 29 June – 1 July 2016 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC).

Spotlight on Graphene

The Mobile World Congress Shanghai exhibition will feature the Graphene Pavilion, a unique space offering attendees the opportunity learn about graphene-based innovations through interactive demonstrations and prototypes. Graphene is set to have a profound impact on many of the building block components of the mobile industry, such as display, sensor and chip technologies, among others. The Graphene Pavilion is presented by the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) and the China Innovation Alliance of theGraphene Industry (CGIA). In addition to the graphene experience on the show floor, Professor Sir Konstantin Novoselov FRS, University of Manchester and winner of the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics, will headline in a session focusing on the latest developments in graphene on the morning of Thursday, 30 June.

4YFN: Focus on Entrepreneurial Talent in Asia

The Shanghai edition of 4YFN will bring together more than 100 local and international startups, as well as European and Asian delegations, with a focus on promotinginternational entrepreneurial talent in Asia. Over three days in the 4YFN Theatre, more than 40 technology leaders will share their experiences and the latest trends shaping the future of digital entrepreneurship. The GSMA today introduced the Connected Vehicle Summit, which highlights the increasing intersection of mobility and transportation and will be held on Friday, 1 July at the Kerry Hotel. Mercedes Benz is the Headline Sponsor and Bosch is the Supporting Sponsor for the Connected Vehicle Summit. Another new GSMA Programme is the Drone Summit, co-organised by EJ Krause, which will be held on Friday, 1 July in Theatre 2, Hall N2, SNIEC.
