Yemeni official in the governmental water institution Anees Al Faqih praised the efforts exerted by the institution's workers, saying that they perform a major role to keep it working despite the increasing challenges.
He added, in an interview with "Arabs Today", that the current financial position could lead the institution to suspend its work due to the suspension of aids provided by UNICEF and lack of diesel.
He stressed the institution's keenness not force the citizens to pay the bills, as they realize the suffering of Yemeni citizens during the current critical period. He called traders and owners of hotels and restaurants for paying their bills to support the institution.
He added that the major difficulties facing the institution are the lack of fuel and the absence of financial support.
