Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Bahrain Asian Traders Committee (BATC) has held a meeting chaired by deputy treasurer and committee head Mohamed Sajid.
BCCI treasurer Isa Abdulrahim Al-Refaei alongside members of the BATC attended the committee meeting.
The meeting discussed details about the exhibition the committee plans to hold by the end of the year titled (Bahrain Asian Trade Expo2017) which will embrace exhibitors from Asian countries including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey.
The exhibition will feature pavilions for direct sales to visitors and cultural activities. On the sideline of the event, business to business meetings will be organized between local business owners and their visiting counterparts.
The committee commended the outcomes of the recent official visit to Pakistan, which yielded a number of business agreements and memoranda, and vowed to continue taking strides that aim to invigorate business between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Asian countries and foster liaison between their business communities in line with the vision of the wise leadership.
