Organizers of "Food Africa" and "Africa Food Manufacturing" exhibitions said more than 450 major companies will participate in the exhibitions that will be held at the Cairo International Convention and Exhibition center (CICC) on April 22-24.
In a statement on Monday, the organizers said that grocery and general merchandise retailers "Spinneys", "Choppies" and "Muhammad A. Sharbatly Co." will participate in the exhibitions.
Food Africa - Cairo will provide space not only for the presentation of quality food manufacturers from all over the world, but also a premier meeting place for the food and drinks industry and a vibrant source of products for the African market.
Over just four days, exhibitors will get the chance to meet face to face with thousands of wholesalers, distributors, retailers and other industry professionals, and develop partnerships which will see their products stocked in shops and supermarkets all over Egypt, and the greater African market.
More than 500 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, including Italy, Spain, Poland, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, India, Greece, Nigeria and Kenya, will take part in the exhibitions.
