Houthi militants and forces loyal to former president Ali Abdullah Saleh seized a medical convoy that was en route to the southwestern province of Taiz.
Al Arabiya news channel said militants seized medicines and dialysis equipment belonging to Al Thawra Hospital in Taiz.
In a statement on Monday, the hospital's board said such irresponsible acts caused the renal dialysis center at the hospital to stop working.
The statement urged international organizations and human rights bodies to ratchet up pressure on Houthis to return back the medical supplies.
