Two persons were arrested with arms by the Royal Oman Police in coordination with the environment preservation office.
A hunted deer was also recovered from their possession. Controllers of natural life protection affiliated to the ministry of environment and climate affairs in cooperation with the personnel concerned at the Environment Preservation Office and ROP arrested two offenders from Qantar area in the wilayat of Quriyat.
The natural life controllers in the wilayat of Quriyat had received calls of gunfire in the area during the past few days.
The issue was referred to the Quriyat Police Station for further action.
