According to the source, Ghoweil was injured in his leg, while his condition is not serious. They added that the clashes that began since Tuesday is still continuous, saying that the conflicting parties resume rallying their militants in a number of districts and towns near the Libyan capital.
The source added that a large number of families have been displaced from their houses in the western district of Tripoli, as Libya’s Red Crescent revealed its success to evacuate 17 families from Andalusia district and other areas of clashes.
The local authorities of the Libyan capital decided to suspend the study in the schools to keep the safety of the students, calling the schools for closing their door until restoring the state of security and stability in the city.
More streets and roads have been blocked this evening including those around Rixos hotel at Bab Ben Ghashir, Hadba central hospital and Hay Damashq. The highway between Zanata district in the east until Ghut Shaal in the west has also been obstructed with barricades.
“Most of the streets leading to our home have been blocked,” said Hadba resident Asma Mousa, “My brother has only just managed to arrive home after spending ages looking for a route to reach us.”
Many residents have not dared leave their homes. “Clashes sometimes calm down but then they flare up again. Many of our streets are blocked as armed men are spreading out everywhere,” one resident told us by telephone.
On the other hand, a number of young people stormed the headquarters of Libyan Naba satellite channel loyal to the Islamists, as they burned it. The activists published the photos of burned building on the social media networks.
