There were conflicting reports that the regime forces announced that the International Coalition planes had targeted an arms depot belonging to IS in Hatla village, containing chemicals that killed hundreds of people, including civilians.

In al-Raqqa, the Syrian Democratic Forces managed to control the villages of al-Zahira, Baas, al-Kalata, and Al Abbara, north of Raqqa, after heavy fighting against militant groups. Civilians were killed and wounded when they were targeted by the International Alliance aircraft during a funeral in a Swedeya Al Kabeera village.
