Fifth Brigade of Yemeni Army managed to control the area of Black Mountains that enjoy strategic importance to fully control Sada’s Baqem city. According to military sources, 12 elements of Houthi militias and forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh have been killed during an air raid conducted by the Arab Coalition’s fighter jets targeting their armored vehicle at Naham, in the Eastern side of Sana’a.
The sources added that the Yemeni governmental troops managed to kill Houthi leading member Abu Yahia Al Maati who recruit elements to fight with the insurgents in Zamar Governorate, while they arrested one of the Houthi prominent leader in Mareb. They added that the arrested leader worked to provide the Houthi militias and forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh with aids with aids.
In the same context, security sources revealed that the Yemeni army achieved notable advance in the second phase of “Golden Spear” military operation aiming to liberate Hadida Governorate from the insurgents. They added that they advanced in Khokha city, while the militants suffer from their increasing losses during the first phase in which they lost their control on the coastal city of Mokha.
The second phase of “Golden Spear” operation witnesses the participation of popular resistance loyal to governmental troops, and Emirati troops of Elite in cooperation with the Arab Coalition’s fighter jets.
The troops launched attack against Moshg area of Khokha city, as they targeted stores of weapons and sites controlled by the Houthi militias. Sources expected that the Yemeni military forces will besiege the insurgents in the villages of Taiz during the coming period.
