Minister of State for Defence Affairs meets senior officials at Dubai Air Show

Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, has met with a number of ministers and senior officials visiting the Dubai Air Show 2017.

Al Bowardi received separately Dr. Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, Singaporean Senior Minister of State of the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Dvigalev, Chairman of State Military Industrial Committee, Major-General Oleg Voinov, the Assistant for Foreign Military Policy to the Minister of Defence of Belarus, and Ellen M. Lord, Under-Secretary of Defence for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics.

During the meetings, the parties discussed distinguished cooperation relations between the UAE and the countries of ministers and officials, especially those related to military and defence affairs, and means of enhancing and developing them to serve their common interest.

Minister Al Bowardi exchanged views with the guests on a number of current issues in the region and common challenges in aviation, as well as discussing military, industrial and technological cooperation in the field of joint military defence.

The meeting was attended by senior officers and officials of the Ministry of Defence.
