Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa praised the efforts of the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) in organising the health sector in Bahrain, pointing out that this sector is one of the most advanced given the quality services provided for citizens and residents alike. He also lauded the tremendous efforts of President of the Supreme Health Council Lt. General Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa which brought about a quality leap in the standard of medical services.
The Southern Governor was speaking as he received NHRA Chief Executive Dr. Meriam bint Adhabi Al Jalahma. He discussed with her the standard of services provided in public and private medical institutions in the Southern Governorate, pointing out growing projects there.
Dr. Al Jalahma commended the Southern Governor’s keenness to follow up on the health needs of the people in the Southern Governorate, stressing the authority’s keenness to ensure optimum services are provided for them. She also presented him with the authority’s strategic plan and annual report which contains the main achievements and goals of the authority to optimise medical services.
