The Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning announced that it would start inspecting labour accommodation in the areas of Hoora and Gudaibiya.
The clampdown follows the directives which were given by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa as he chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting.
“The ministry will coordinate the inspection campaign with other relevant government parties”, said Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs Dr. Nabeel Abul Fateh, adding that the Capital Trustees would also be engaged.
He extended thanks to HRH the Premier, hailing his keenness on developing services and public amenities and stepping up inspections across Bahrain, particularly Hoora and Gudaibiya.
