Ayman Safadi, Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs of Jordan, and Mark Lowcock, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, discussed cooperation between Jordan and the United Nations on Saturday, and dealing with the consequences of the Syrian refugee crisis.
According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Lowcock voiced the UN's appreciation of Jordan's efforts in assisting the refugees.
During the meeting, the two sides highlighted their keenness to boost joint cooperation, which will, in turn, ensure the provision of the appropriate care for Syrian refugees in Jordan.
