Kuwait Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Delegate at the UN here, Sadeq Maarefi, delivered on Wednesday credentials to Martin Kreutner, Dean and Executive Secretary of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), at the academy headquarters in the Austrian city Laxenburg.
In remarks to KUNA, the diplomat said Kuwait's joining of the academy, in May, was a positive step toward cementing cooperation with the international community for data and expertise swap related to combating corruption, a move that came following establishment of the Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority.
Kuwait will take part, for the first time, with a senior-level delegation at the fourth session of the IACA member states, due in Vienna in December
