The Shura Council is set to host a delegation from the French Senate from November 25 to 29.
The French delegation will hold meetings with the members of the Legislative Branch in Bahrain, as well as with a number of senior state officials.
Talks will focus on ways to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.
The Shura Council welcomed the French delegation’s visit, which is within the framework of the solid bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation, stressing the importance of continuous communication with the French Senate.
It also called for the need to continue bolstering joint ties to achieve the aspirations of the two countries and enhance cooperation and coordination between the legislatures in the two countries.
