Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mullah extended an invitation to United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad Al-Hussein to visit Bahrain and get a first-hand idea of the Kingdom's pioneering human rights strides under the reform project which was initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
The Speaker stressed the keenness of the elected Parliament, representative of people's will, on reaching out to all organisations and international and legislative institutions. "We look forward to your acceptance of this invitation to visit Bahrain at the date that best suits Your Excellency, so that the programme could be arranged", the Speaker said.
