Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here Saturday and discussed current political situation in the country.
The two leaders condemned the abusive language used against the parliament.
Shehbaz Sharif said the attitude of those, who had insulted the parliament, was against democratic norms. They were the same elements who had multiplied the problems of people through sit-ins. Politics was the name of selfless public service, but personal ego of some had caused huge loss to the nation, he added.
He said, “We should work together to move the country forward.” Differences should be set aside to make the
country stronger and greater, he added.
Governor Zubair said Chief Minister Shehbaz had served the province in real terms and the measures taken by him were
a role model for other provinces. The CM was making untiring efforts for the people of Punjab, he added.
Member of the National Assembly Syed Ayaz Ali Sherazi, former MNA Syed Shafqat Hussain Sherazi and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Thatha President Muhammad Hanif Memon were also present in the meeting.
