Top talent across the oil and gas industry was recognised at the ADIPEC Awards last night, which were held at Abu Dhabi Ritz Carlton Hotel.
Dubai Supreme Council of Energy were announced as winners of the Driving Performance and Efficiency to Enhance Cost Optimisation award, as the judges recognised the team’s commitment to its integrated strategy, which looks forward to Dubai Industrial Strategy, 2030.
Other leading names from across the energy sector were all represented at last night’s event which shone a light on best business practices, teamwork, forward thinking, social awareness and individual talent.
The award for Technical Innovation and Research of the Year went to Saudi Aramco, along with the WWT International Best Digital Transformation Project, recognising the conglomorate's success in achieving the first intelligent carbon capture and storage project in the Middle East.
The next award was for Social Contribution and in-Country Value went to OMV Pakistan for its Women’s Empowerment Programme, "Making History and Changing the Future".
The final award went to Saudi Aramco's Sarah Alsaif, who was acclaimed as young ADIPEC Engineer.
