In implementation of directives from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to renovate the houses damaged due to the terrorist attack targeted a pipeline near Buri village, Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Issam Abdullah Khalaf, said renovation works have been completed in six houses, two months after the work began.
The minister said the renovation progress rate of the first four houses the ministry received on November 14, 2017 has reached 75%, one of them has been completely finished. The progress rate of the 12th houses the ministry received on November, 28, 2017 ranges between 30% and 100%, renovation works of five of them have been completed and two other houses renovation progress rate reached 90%, at the mean time works continue in the remaining seven houses received on November 28, 2017.
He directed to further speed up work and closely coordinate with the concerned sides to pull this national duty off, which reflects the royal leadership’s interest in delivering comprehensive services to all citizens.
He also directed the ministry's concerned departments to get on with the renovation works in the remaining seven houses right after the technical procedures are completed, urging the same departments to go by the ministry’s renovation plan to achieve the project as soon as possible.
