Egypt's Consul General in Jeddah Hazem Ramadan said Saturday that the Egyptian consulate is following up the killing of an Egyptian national in southern Saudi Arabia after a dispute with a Yemeni national.
In a statement released by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, the Egyptian consulate explained that a delegate from the consulate is following up the investigations that started in a police station in Aseer province in southern Saudi Arabia.
The statement said Saudi police arrested the perpetrator and the consulate delegate has extended help to the family of the deceased to complete the burial procedures.
The consulate offered condolences to the family of the Egyptian victim.
