Chairman of the General Trade Union Federation (ETUF) Gebali al Maraghi has appreciated the role of Azhar and the Church in their unity and cohesion in the face of evil powers and misconception, asserting that terrorism would never weaken the Egyptians' will and unity.
ETUF chairman remarks were made in his address at a ceremony organized by ETUF on the occasion of Labor Day, held at Massa Hotel in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
He said Egyptians in all their categories have realized the big economic challenges facing their country. However, the mega national projects carried out by the government are being implemented according to schedule across the country.
He asserted that Egypt's laborers are capable of building their country with their mighty hands and enlightened minds, adding that old and modern history has been a witness to the Egyptians unity at the time of crises.
Maraghi also voiced confidence that Egypt's laborers are able to put it on the right track of developed countries through hard work and strenuous efforts.
Concluding his speech, he handed President Sisi ETUF Shield in appreciation of his efforts in support of laborers.
