Fatah will send teams to the Gaza Strip next week to mull operating the enclave's crossings, said Civil affairs Minister Hussein al Sheikh, who is also a member of the movement's central committee, on Sunday.
The step is part of the recently-signed reconciliation accord which sets a clear-cut timetable to enable the Palestinian government to control the enclave, al Sheikh told the Palestinian radio.
The key to empower the government to run the territory is the crossings and financial revenues, he said.
He noted that the permanent operation of Rafah terminal requires a set of conditions that should be met.
