His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa hailed academic cooperation between national and prestigious universities to improve educational outcomes and support the educational process.
HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today a delegation from the American Northeastern University headed by Vice President Dr. Robert Dietrich and Administration College Dean Dr. Raj Echambadi on the occasion of their visit to Bahrain.
HRH the Prime Minister stressed the importance of broadening the scope of cultural exchange through cooperation between the universities in Bahrain and the USA.
He underlined the role of exchanging visits and availing of the international scientific and technological progress to support the development field. He pointed out the key role of Bahrain’s higher educational institutions in backing the educational progress, adding that cooperation with international universities helps keep abreast of academic and technological advances.
HRH the Premier affirmed the great care accorded to the educational sector in Bahrain given the role of education in building civilisations and fast-tracking development.
Dr. Dietrich expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier for his keenness to boost friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and the USA, lauding progress of the educational sector in the Kingdom that keeps up with international standards.
