MP Nabil Nicolas said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon 93.3 radio station that "there is a Lebanese will to maintain the current government," warning of the continued pressure exerted by some foreign countries on Lebanon.
He pointed out that "the salary scale page has been folded in conjunction with reaching a temporary solution to the auditing of budget accounts so as to approve the budget soon," stressing that "it is in no one's interest to tamper with the Lebanese economy."
In response to a question, Nicolas pointed out that "the Free Patriotic Movement" has not received any invitation to visit Saudi Arabia or any Gulf country, "pointing out that several invitations have been addressed to a number of Lebanese leaders," hoping "those invitations serve Lebanon, not vice versa
