Middlesex University Dubai, in partnership with the Chartered Institute for IT BCS, Middle East section, hosted the Student Innovation Awards - BCS ICT Conference 2017, at its Knowledge Park campus on 12th October, as part of efforts to provide students with opportunities to strengthen their knowledge and skills.
The event aimed to provide students with a unique platform whereon they can use technology to showcase their creativity and enhance their interest in the areas of Mobility, Security, Communication, Collaboration, Environment and Wellness for Future Cities. The conference also provided an opportunity for Middlesex University Dubai faculty and students, along with members of Dubai’s ICT community, to network and discuss trends and activities occurring in the region’s dynamic ICT sector.
The event was held as part of the lead-up to the 2017 BCS ICT Conference, to be held in Abu Dhabi on 29th October.
