HE Assistant to the Sudanese President Maj. Gen. Abdulrahman Al Sadeq Al Mahdi underlined the distinct and deep-rooted relations between the Republic of the Sudan and the State of Qatar which fueled the development of mutual cooperation in all fields and domains.
In statements to Qatar News Agency (QNA) following his visit to Qatar's Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy headquarters, HE the President Assistant praised Qatar's major role in establishing peace in Darfur and enhancing security and stability in the region.
Commenting on his visit, he highlighted the huge preparation and remarkable infrastructure work to host Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, which he said proves Qatar's significant development in all areas, noting that such arrangements exceed any preparation for an international football tournament.
Meanwhile, HE the Sudanese President Assistant hailed Qatar's great development in the field of sports and sports facilities which represents a source of pride for all Arabs and the Middle East region, noting that he attended recently the conclusion of the endurance ride challenge for the sword of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, which he described as high-quality world-class and interesting race.
Concluding, Maj. Gen. Abdulrahman Al Sadeq Al Mahdi underlined that the State of Qatar is one of the countries that honors Arabs in all fields, especially the sports field where it succeeded in organizing several international tournaments with high efficiency.
