The State Minister for Foreign Relations, Dr. Obeidalla Mohamed Obeidalla, on Thursday received the visiting Bahrain parliamentary delegation currently on visit to the country, led by Ahmed Bin Ibrahim Al Mullah,and reviewed with him bilateral relations and ways of developing relations further between Khartoum and Manama.
The State Minister has commended the assistance and the backing provided by the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sudan in the various arena and its assistance until the partial lifting of sanctions imposed on the Sudan.
He further pointed out that readiness of the Sudan to work with its sister Arab countries and to coordinate with them for fighting terrorism and violent extremism and other threats.
The State Minister has meanwhile said the current visit of the President of the Republic Omar Bashir to the Kingdom of Bahrain has come on time and would help boost further the bilateral relations, the Bahraini side described the visit as vital and successful.
