UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan issued an edict establishing a joint committee for cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The newly-established panel will be co-chaired by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
The committee has been mandated to develop joint military, political, economic, trade and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
