The African parliamentary delegation, currently on a visit to Sudan, visited, Friday, the capital of North Darfur State and met, the Wali of the State, Engineer, Abdul Wahid Yousef and reviewed with him the impacts of the US sanctions imposed on Sudan.
The delegation has also, inspected the camps of the internally displaced people camps in the state .
Abdul Wahid said in press statements that he briefed the African delegation on the stability of security situations and the challenges facing the state in the fields of the return of the displaced, development and services projects besides the progress of the firearms collection campaign in the state .
He underlined the necessity for lifting the sanctions imposed on the country to enable it to benefit from international funds to realize the comprehensive s represented in roads, railways development, especially, infrastructure project and health and educational projects.
The delegation Chairman, on his part, said their visit aimed at inspecting the negative impacts of the US sanctions imposed on Sudan.
