Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh congratulated Bahrain Medical Committee chairman Dr. Ibrahim Farooq Obaid as well as members on the advent of Eid Al-Adha.
She held a telephone call with Dr. Obaid and was reassured about Bahrain pilgrims and the medical team, stressing the importance of continuing the provision of health services until the end of the haj rituals to ensure their safe return.
Dr. Obaid stressed all pilgrims’ good health after completing Haj rituals in Arafat Mount and Muzdalifa. He pointed out that some received treatment after suffering fainting, nose bleeding and thermal exhaustion due to fatigue.
Dr. Obaid said that Bahrain health clinic in Mina would open round the clock from Friday until Saturday, the 3rd Eid Day, in compliance with the minister’s directives.
Al-Saleh commended the strenuous efforts of the Haj medical delegation, in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.
