The Spanish newspaper Marca confirmed that Pedri did not participate with Barcelona in the group training session that concluded its preparations for the Villarreal match in La Liga.

She added that Casado also did not participate in the team's group training, as the duo only had a training session inside the gym at the end of the team's preparations for the upcoming match.

Marca explained that there was nothing serious that prevented the duo from participating in the last training session with Barcelona, ​​but this was done in order to avoid any additional muscle strain, especially since they played almost everything since the beginning of the season.

Barcelona tops the standings with 15 points, after achieving full marks in the five matches the team has played so far, while Villarreal is in fourth place with 11 points, gained from winning three matches and drawing two matches.
