Global celebrities have tweeted prayers and support for the terror attacks in central London on Saturday. At least seven people were killed and nearly 50 injured in the horrific incidents.
Arab superstar Elissa wrote: “London is still under the attacks of terrorism in this crazy world. It’s about time to stop this madness #PrayForLondon”
US pop star Ariana Grande, whose recent Manchester concert was the site of a terrorist attack, tweeted, “Praying for London.”
British singer Sami Yusuf tweeted: “Demonic people, yet again, terrorizing my home city London. Thoughts and prayers with all those affected! _sy. #LondonBridge #boroughmarket“
British model Cara Delevingne offered, “My heart is with you London. Please can everyone stay safe. This is beyond tragic but we must stand together and not let this break us.”
Mariah Carey tweeted: “London, stay strong. Our hearts are with you and all those affected by this tragedy. #PrayersForLondon”
“Our world is so dark and scary at the moment. Please say your prayers!! Try to be kind and loving! Love will always win! #PrayForLondon,” wrote reality TV star Khloe Kardashian.
Police said on Sunday they had arrested 12 suspects.
