Lebanese singer Assy Al Helani revealed that he performed Umrah during his presence in Saudi Arabia attend the opening of a restaurant carrying his name in the Saudi city of Mecca. He said, "I felt very comfortable, as it was different phase in the human's life."

He added, in a statement to "Arabs Today", "Thanks God for this opportunity in which I visited the source of faith. I will repeat the visit to the Saudi city during the coming phase. I attended the opening of a new restaurant."

He denied any agreement to participate in a singing party in Saudi Arabia, saying that he went to Saudi just to attend the opening of the new restaurant and to congratulate the Saudi investor who owns the restaurant.
