The Tunisian singer Latifa said that she does not mind to be listed in "the blacklist", since this list includes star names like Adel Imam. According to 'The Seventh Day newspaper', she is against such lists, as they include names which should not be included. The Egyptian revolution and the rest of Arab revolutions happened to achieve full democracy, she said. Latifa was blacklisted as she is among the artists who signed a statement last year calling the ousted Tunisian President, Zine ElAbidine Ben Ali, to run for another term in office. Meanwhile, she faced the same fate in Egypt when she sang "Ekhtarnah" for the ousted Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak, in the Egyptian Opera House.
