Lebanese actress Mais Hamdan has revealed about her role in “Taket Nour” drama series scheduled to be screened in Ramadan 2017.
In an interview with Arab Today, Hamdan said she is to begin filming her scenes in the new series next month and that she will play a new “complex” character for her which she described as a “surprise” to her audience
The drama is interesting and features her relationship with a mercenary; a role staring by Egyptian actor Hany Salama.
Hamdan is an actress and a singer. Her father is Lebanese while her mother is a Palestinian-Jordanian. She is the sister of musician May Selim.
Mais was born in Dubai. She has performed in several films such as “’Umar wa Salma”, “Keif al-Hal” (“How’s it Going?”) and “Zarf Tareq” (“Urgent Circumstances”).
Mais began her career in the satirical show CBM which saw her acting alongside several well known performers. Mais is skilled at imitation and she has imitated many famous Arab figures. Her talents were discovered by Ahmed Sobhy who at the time was the Director of Public Affairs at the MBC Group. Thereafter, her career took off.
