Director Mohammed Samy confirmed that, he is waiting for two of his movies to be released in Eid Al Fitr. One is “Good Night” starring Tamer Hosny, Nour and Mai Omar, the other is “Arrest Warrant” starring Mohammed Ramadan, Iyad Nassar and Dina Al Sherbini. The two movies are different regarding the content and the characters.
Samy said in a statement to “Arab Today”, that Tamer Hosny's character in “Good Night” is different from the character in “I adore you” movie. In “Good Night” movie he plays a serious character with a lot of drama as he discusses the issue of self-sufficiency in humans.
He confirmed that, the problems he faced with Cinema Censorship delayed “Arrest Warrant” movie for almost a year, and he had to amend some scenes and to delete others so he can have the final approve to release the movie.
Samy was also busy filming “Anger days and revolution” movie for writer Waheed Hamed and starring Adel Emam, Ahmed Al Saka, Mohammed Ramadan and Ahmed Bodair. The movie addresses the period that Egypt faced since 2011 revolution to June 30 revolution.
