Actress Ola Ghanem has assured audiences that her Ramadan TV drama “Abdelaziz Street” will hold a surprise for viewers. This is because of its bold storyline and the quality of performance by the actors starring in it. Although Ghanem and her crew began filming for the drama last April, and were faced with some difficulties, they were able to get past them and have the drama ready for Ramadan. Ghanem said that she expects huge success for the drama despite the fierce competition it is expected to face by other dramas this Ramadan. However this drama has gained the most advertisements, and became number one after Adel Emam’s drama “Atallah Group” which has been postponed. She added that the drama discusses issues that Egypt faces which concern the majority of its people, but does not do it in the traditional way we are used to. It is directed in a way that shows the beauty of Egypt away from its current troubles. The drama is set in Cairo, and it also stars Amr Saad, Hana Shiha, and Riham Said. It was written by Usama Noureddine and directed by Ahmed Yusri.
