Dubai Music Week, a venture between partners, Global Gumbo Group (G3) and DXB Live, in collaboration with Dubai World Trade Centre, has announced that global superstar Selena Gomez will headline at the Dubai World Trade Centre, alongside world leading music superstars, will.i.am and Timbaland on the 27th September. Tickets available on-line now at www.ticketmaster.ae In support of her highly anticipated summer album ‘Stars Dance’, multi-platinum-selling singer and actress Gomez is visiting Dubai as part of her 2013 World Tour, and has chosen Dubai Music Week as the platform for her premier visit to the Region. The former Disney Channel actress and singer, who has over 16 million Twitter followers, is set to perform the latest singles from her highly anticipated solo album which debuted at number one on the Billboards charts, including the number one smash hit, ‘Come and Get It’ and latest release ‘Slow Down’, as well as favorites such as ‘Love You like a Love Song’, which sold over four million copies in the US alone. “Selena Gomez is a great addition to the lineup for Dubai Music Week” said Hamad bin Mejren, Executive Director, Business Tourism, DTCM. “The caliber of artists who are performing in the first Dubai Music Week is a testament to Dubai’s position as the leading entertainment and music hub in the region.” Dubai Music Week, in association with Dubai Calendar, official Partner Emirates and official sponsor Pepsi, is set to bring an eclectic series of events and seminars targeting music fans in the region.
