Egyptian actress Summaya al Khashab has miraculously survived death after losing her balance and falling into the Nile River while filming the scene for her new television drama “Wadi Al Mulook” (Valley of Kings). Summaya said that God had saved her and actress Riham Abd Al Ghafour, who also fell with Summaya, from death by drowning in the Nile. The actress stated that she and Riham were to go on a boat, but for some reason lost their balance and fell in the river. According to the internet website MBC.net, Mohammad Ashour, assistant director for Shadi Abu Shadi, was able to rescue both women, despite the fact that the part of the river they fell in was very deep and difficult to swim in. Summaya prayed and thanked God for giving her a second chance at life. On a different note, Summaya denied the existence of disputes with actress Sabrine over the order of their names in the credits of the drama. Summaya stressed that ordering the names is the responsibility of the director and the only thing she cares about is making sure that the drama is of the highest standards. Summaya will be taking part in two series in Ramadan. The first is "Valley of the Kings" and the second “Kayd Al Nisa” (Women’s Vengeance). Summaya denied rumors that she were provocative and seductive nightgowns in the second drama, stressing that doing so would be disrespectful to the holy month of Ramadan, which is when the drama will be aired.
