Lebanese legendary singer Wadi Al Safi announced that his wish for the year 2012 is to not die a sick man, but rather if his time comes, he wishes to be healthy standing on his own two feet.  Wadi said that God had granted him everything he wished for and is very happy with the life he lived. According to the internet website MBC.net, Wadi noted that he loves his family very much and is very grateful for them. He added that he raised his children to always do good and respect others. With regards to politics, Wadi stated that he is very proud of his Arab origin, despite the fact that he holds four different nationalities. The different nationalities Wadi holds are French, Egyptian, Brazilian and Lebanese.
