Egyptian actress Youssra revealed that the major reason behind her absence from cinema is the lack of suitable scenarios, stressing her keenness to choose her roles carefully to meet the expectations of her fans in all over the Arab world and not to undermine her career.
She added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that she refused to participate in “People of Shame” film because of the increasing seductive scenes contained in the role that she was supposed to perform. She stressed that she was also preoccupied in filming her TV drama show “Al Hesab Yegma” presented during the latest drama season of Ramadan.
She expressed her pleasure for the positive reactions she received for her role in the new TV drama show presented in the Arab satellite channels during the latest drama season of Ramadan, saying that it provided a serious image about some human patterns. She said that the new series managed to attract a large number of audiences since the beginning of the current drama season of Ramadan.
