Work progress and navigation movement in Aden seaports are recovering rapidly, Yemeni Minister of Transport, Murad Al Halemi, emphasised today.
''The Ministry of Transport is coordinating with brotherly and friendly countries to introduce ambitious measures to stimulate transport movement in liberated governorates,'' he told the Yemen news agency, and added that the recent visit by President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi to Aden International Airport and other services facilities had proved a morale booster to officials and employees to work hard so as to bring life back to normalcy and return to work in the Aden Governorate and other public entities.
He indicated that the airport operates daily and weekly scheduled flights to a number of destinations including two weekly flights to Jordan's capital Amman. ''Maintenance at terminals and other airport facilities does not affect air traffic,'' he added.
