Alexandria Governor Hani el Meseiri said restoring tourism is a top priority for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
In statements after he welcomed the Captain of Mein Schiff 1 tourist vessel, Alexandria Governor welcomed as many as 2,084 German tourists and advised them to visit many tourist and archaeological locations in the coastal city.
The governor also inspected the various parts of the vessel and watched a short documentary on the history of Alexandria and its archaeological sites.
