Yemen's Vice President and Prime Minister, Khaled Bahah, has discussed with Mubarak al-Tamimi, Deputy Minister of Electricity, issues regarding electricity, and the problem of the deficit in the electricity generating capacity and how to address the increasing demand for power during the summer.
According to the Official Yemeni News Agency, Bahah was briefed by the officials on plans to address power shortage and increasing demand for electricity as well as the procedures taken in co-ordination with the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), to provide the required spare parts for the operation and maintenance of some generators.
