Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Hossam Moghazi said his ministry will go ahead with carrying out its plan to remove encroachments on the Nile River and other waterways whatever the sacrifices would be.
The minister's statements came after some violators attacked a number of agronomists and security forces while trying to remove encroachments on the Nile.
A statement issued by the ministry said the number of encroachment removal operations reached 124 till now, pointing out to the availability of a hotline to receive complaints on the encroachments.
