The Head of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) Mahmoud Sakr underlined profound scientific cooperation between Egypt and Russia.
He said also that 18 joint projects were funded between 5,000 and 15,000 dollars annually, adding that 30 researches tackling nuclear energy were published in international magazines.
The official's remarks came during a ceremony organized to honor 27 of Egyptian researchers who were selected to take part in the Egyptian-Russia nuclear school.
Sakr underscored that 27 of Egyptian youth were delegated to Russia so as to be trained in the field of peaceful nuclear energy.
