Colombia's FARC rebels will continue to observe a ceasefire despite voters narrowly rejecting a peace deal between the guerrillas and the government, their leader said Monday.

"We restate for Colombia and the world that our guerrilla fronts nationwide will remain engaged in the definitive bilateral ceasefire," said FARC chief Rodrigo Londono, better known as Timoleon "Timochenko" Jimenez, in a video released from Havana, where the four-year peace talks were held.
