Fed keeps interest rate steady but expects to hike this year

The Federal Reserve kept its key interest rate unchanged Wednesday but indicated that despite slower economic growth it could still raise the rate twice this year.
The Fed cut its growth outlook for the United States to 2.0 percent for this year and 2017, but also indicated it sees inflation picking up slightly this year that would support a higher federal funds rate.
