King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue participated in the World Tolerance Summit which was held in Dubai during the period from 16 to 15 November 2018.

The participants discussed ways to spread the values of tolerance globally, support constructive dialogue among various cultures and religions, emphasize respect for basic principles of justice and human rights, discuss the role of governments in promoting the values of tolerance and brotherhood, coexistence experiences and the role of social media in spreading social messages to ensure respect for cultural and religious pluralism and common commitment to values of dialogue and respect for others, raise awareness of the urgent need for them and the role of curricula in promoting the values of tolerance and peace.

Faisal bin Abdul Rahman bin Muammar, SecretaryGeneral of KAICIID addressed the summit on the role of governments in promoting tolerance, peaceful coexistence and diversity.

He stressed the role of governments in encouraging and promoting the values of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and religious and cultural diversity.
Bin Muammar highlighted Saudi efforts to bolster dialogue and KAICIID's activities in this field.
