French President Emmanuel Macron said in a televised interview Sunday that he would travel to Iran "at the appropriate time", two days after US President Donald Trump said he was "decertifying" the nuclear deal with Tehran.
Macron spoke to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Friday, telling him that Paris remained committed to the 2015 nuclear agreement which, besides the United States, was also negotiated with Britain, China, Russia and Germany.
